GPO-3 is a glass-reinforced polyester laminate, a thermoset composite. It offers excellent electrical insulation, flame retardancy, and good mechanical strength. Easily machined, it's a standard material for electrical insulation components like arc chutes, barriers, and panels in switchgear and circuit breakers.

UPGM 203 is a unidirectional prepreg glass material, a high-performance thermoset composite. Its fibers align in one direction, providing exceptional strength-to-weight ratio along that axis. It requires heat curing and is primarily used in advanced structural applications like aerospace components and high-end sporting goods.

Core Difference: GPO-3 is a general-purpose electrical insulator, while UPGM 203 is a specialized structural material for primary load-bearing applications.
